On the drive between Marrakesh and Essaouira, my eye was attracted to one stand alone rural home along the highway.  I liked its architecture – a long and narrow building with many small windows. I asked the driver to stop which he did.  I went out and began photographing.  It did not lake before the dogs started to bark full force, to be followed by the owner of the house.  Lucky for me he came out, and we began talking.  we sure talked, but there was no mutual language. I guess best ammunition in this case is the international hand motion language. it worked, and I was invited to come in and meet his wife and sister-in-law.

I do not know about you, but sometimes I have a real wish and I have no clue of how I can make it happen. since I arrived in Morocco, I wanted to see the inside of a family home in a rural setting after seeing more than several homes in Marrakesh. And here, out of the blue, my wish became reality.  I was invited to come in, and see this very modest, pretty and functional home.what else could I have asked for on such a beautiful day? the owners were warm and welcoming, offered  home-made bread dipped in freshly pressed olive oil and awfully sweet tea.  Moroccans love sugar!!! Again, an unexpected great present of luck.  Thank you!
