When I travel in Burgundy or as the French call it “Bourgogne” I immediately think of Tuscany, Italy.  I hope I have not insulted any member of these two parties.  At the very heart of the country, Burgundy is one of France’s most prosperous regions. Its peaceful way of life, celebrated wine, white in Chablis and red at Nuit St. George, delicious food and numerous outdoor activities all combine to make this region the ideal place to discover and appreciate la vie française. Its cuisine is superb.  No needs to dine at the many fancy Michelin restaurants, the villages have wonderful local brasseries.

Burgundy offers some of France’s most gorgeous countryside: rolling green hills dotted with medieval villages, and mustard fields blooming in bright contrast.  The region is overflowing with edible, drinkable, scenic, and floatable delights; Hilltop villages and market towns are adorned with some of the most magnificent churches, bell towers.  Sounds like Tuscany?
